Overview
FireCard400-e™ is a FireWire-400 ExpressCard 34 adapter, providing two 6 pin 1394a ports to your notebook computer for data transfer rates up to 400Mbps. It can be used for the connection of any 1394a device, such as industrial firewire cameras, external RAID Firewire-400 storage, DV camcorders, scanners, printers, firewire web cameras, optical and audio devices and more.

Powering the FireCard400-e™
FireCard400-e™ in order to provide power to non self-powered 1394 devices, has a power supply socket, in which switching power adapter can plugged.
Recommended DC adapter must provide stable regulated output voltage of 12V DC, at 1.5A~2.5A(Max).
To match FireCard400-e input socket, the jack plug of the DC adapter need following dimensions and polarity as on the figure.
