Overview
FireCard800-e™ is a dual port 1394b (FireWire-800) ExpressCard 34 adapter, providing high speed 1394b ports to your notebook computer for data transfer rates up to 800Mbps. It can be used for the connection of high performance 1394a or 1394b devices, such as industrial firewire cameras, external RAID Firewire-800 storage, DV camcorders, scanners, printers, firewire web cameras, optical and audio devices and more.

Powering the FireCard800-e™
FireCard800-e™ in order to provide power to non self-powered 1394 devices, has a power supply socket, in which switching power adapter can plugged.
Recommended DC adapter must provide stable regulated output voltage of 12V DC, at 1.5A~2.5A(Max).
To match FireCard800-e input socket, the jack plug of the DC adapter need following dimensions and polarity as on the figure.
