April 25, 2007 Unibrain's ubCore 1394b drivers receive the Microsoft sign for Vista 32 and 64 bit Unibrain continues playing a major role in adoption rate of the 1394b standard Unibrain has just released Windows Vista digitally signed 1394b (Firewire-800) drivers for both 32 bit and 64 bit editions (under the Microsoft certification Windows Logo Program for third party kernel drivers). OEMs and System Manufacturers can now incorporate and bundle the ubCore™ drivers in their 1394b equipped systems and devices which are applying for the WHQL Vista Logo. The Unibrain driver stack, already in use by major motherboard manufacturers, is a set of low-level drivers with a top-down layered structure that provides the physical interface to various 1394 devices.
