Unibrain reports profits for 2005 year-end results

Athens, Greece, March 30, 2006- Unibrain S.A. (Reuters: UNBr.AT) today announced results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2005.
According to the financial statements, based on the the International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.):

The main highlights of the financial statements of Unibrain S.A. are:

• Increase of sales by 4.05% from €3,746,058.93 for fiscal 2004 to €3,897,909.68.
• Increase of operational profit before taxes, interests and depreciation (EBITDA) by 75.59% from €671,401.02 to €1,178,928.10.
• Increase of profit before taxes from loss of €301,159.54 for fiscal 2004 to profit of  €900,745.87.
• Increase of net profit after taxes and minority rights from loss of  €354,483.34 for fiscal 2004 to profit €420,801.68.

The main highlights of the financial statements of the group:

• Increase of sales by 15.83% from €3,993,020.60 for fiscal 2004 to €4,625,122.20.
• Increase of operational profit before taxes, interests and depreciation (EBITDA) by 138.30% from €522,036.36 to €1,243,993.30.
• Increase of profit before taxes from loss of €266,344.16 for fiscal 2004 to profit of €949,628.29
• Increase of net profit after taxes and minority rights from loss of €319,667.96 for fiscal 2004 to profit of €469,684.10.

Commenting the results of 2005, the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. George Zachopoulos, pointed out that the positive results of Unibrain’s 2005 financial statement are due to:
1. The restructuring of both Unibrain S.A. and its (100% owned) subsidiary company, Unibrain, Inc.- which is located in California, USA.
2. The success of the iZak product line with OEM sales in Europe, USA and mainly Asia.
3. The agreement with Texas Instruments for the use of Unibrain software which is bundled with TI's 1394b (Firewire-800) chips sold worldwide.
